Emily Salisbury
Founder & Coach

I founded Jupiter Coaching Group to create opportunities for individuals and teams to reach the next level of performance through skillful coaching conversations that uncover and resolve barriers and cultivate inspiration.

With over 20 years of Human Resources experience in healthcare, I've had an opportunity to work with thousands of leaders with diverse perspectives and backgrounds - from up-and-coming junior leaders, clinicians looking to develop leadership acumen, and seasoned executives. Familiar with public, community-owned and private equity environments, I've worked with hundreds of successful executives to improve individual and company performance, cultivate culture, and drive results.

A native of Michigan, my studies and professional opportunities have led me to live in various geographies across the US.  I spent over a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I achieved an undergrad degree in Organizational Behavior and a Master's in Business Administration.  My studies allowed me to lead projects at the Silicon Valley all-stars including LinkedIn and Tesla, including designing leadership structures and processes. I enjoyed a few years in North Carolina in Raleigh/Durham where I lived in the clinical research environment including creating partnerships with several East-coach ivy league universities and building the national coordination of Ethical Review.  My most extensive experience is at several health systems and medical groups where I have led HR strategy and operations.  I am passionate about the work of healthcare and driving towards a more effective model of patients and their families.  My background includes heavy M&A integration activity, labor relations, driving culture building initiatives, and supporting executive teams as they navigate complex and rapid-fire organizational and industry changes.

Why "Jupiter"?  The planet of Jupiter has around 100 moons that have been officially recognized, as well as thousands of other objects within its orbit.  This balance of priorities is representative of the countless priorities that today's executives and rising leaders are balancing.  Whether it's internal professional pressures, the demands from home, or the expectations of society, we could all use more support in defining our objectives, drafting our path, and executing on it.

I am well connected with a world-wide network of ICF-certified executive coaches.  This network is tapped into when a client requires a specific niche or is interested in in-person coaching.  If I am not the best-suited coach for you, I'm happy to recommend alternate resources.
